Drayton Hall is an 18th-century plantation located on the Ashley River about 15 miles northwest of Charleston, South Carolina, and is one of the largest natural plantations in the area. It is a group of quiet plain lands, in addition to an African American cemetery, which includes a number of the bodies of soldiers and citizens who died during the war.
