The Baker's House is a beautiful statue of an old baker that runs across the rue des Straits in one of the main shopping areas of Louvain which bears the memory of all the bakers who were in this area. This statue contains a lot of details and is a completely unique piece. The statue was purchased from artist Roland Rains in honor of the hard workers in the bakery profession. The statue is very popular in the city and it is worth stopping by to have a quick look at it and take a picture with it.
