For 70 years this wonderful park was a center for pistol shooting, then it became deserted. In the 1960s, this area was renovated and turned into a local entertainment area. It contains the most distinctive architectural landmark, the Danube Tower, which is 252 meters high. This park was opened at the Vienna International Garden Fair in 1964. Today, there are many green fields, skating fields and public tennis courts. It is the ideal place to see the statues of famous international artists, in addition to enjoying the picturesque nature that adorns the place.
