A bronze statue of two characters, Sancho Panza and Don Quijote, was placed in the center of the new Plaza Cervantes square, and it became a landmark of the region, and the story behind this dates back to the famous novel bearing the name of the hero Don Quixote, which was written by the author Spaniard Don Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra in 1605, and Sancho Panza was working as Don Quixote's assistant in his interesting adventures.
