The Domus was a palace dedicated to the Hungarian kings who ruled the country for 900 years, and this remarkable site is one of the oldest monuments of majestic Romanesque architecture in Esztergom. This complex of palaces was destroyed during the Turkish occupation of Hungary, and everyone who comes to visit can see what remains of the palaces, walls and historical rooms surrounded by spacious green spaces.
