The Prora Documentation Center is located in the Prora complex which has come to be known as the "Giant of Rügen", which belongs to the Baltic Sea resort of Binz and is located on Brower Week; The most beautiful bay on the island of Rügen, the complex, about 4.7 km long, was built between 1936 and 1939 by Nazi Germany to serve as a beach resort for the "Strength through Joy" project, and today it houses a permanent exhibition reflecting the organization of the state under National Socialism in the framework of power This documentation is accompanied by temporary exhibitions with themes on history, architecture, art, nature and politics.
