Djurdjura National Park is located in northern Algeria, a few miles from the coast, and occupies an area of 82.5 square kilometers. It was established in July 1983. It includes the famous Djurdjura Mountains, from which the name of the park is derived. Wild birds and animals such as the endangered Barbary macaque, also include many dense forests of Atlas cedars, pines and junipers, deep valleys and exceptional caves, making it widely one of the most beautiful landscapes in Algeria.
