The Dinosaur Land on the German island of Rügen was opened by Rüdiger Kunkel on April 30, 2008 on the land that belonged to the East German National People's Army. In addition, there are models of prehistoric fish, marine mammals, turtles, mammoths and sharp-toothed tigers, and the park also offers various activities, such as a simulation experience of excavating dinosaur skeletons using a shovel and brush, as well as searching for fossils in the remains of a chalk pit.
