The Hetjens Deutsches Keramikmuseum is an impressive centrally located museum that focuses on the development of ceramic art and pottery over the centuries. It displays a huge collection from antiquity to modern times and is interesting even for visitors who are not specialists in antiques, as it contains not only wares but also some exotic species such as a life-size turkey. A wonderful museum that deserves to be devoted to, two hours minimum.
