This memorial was established in the city, to commemorate the martyred heroes who fell on the way to liberate the country. The monument is a tall stone obelisk in the middle of the square, bearing a red star at the top, denoting the state of Albania, with an open hall behind it, which includes stone graves for some of the martyrs. And a stone plaque engraved with the names of hundreds of them, in order to immortalize them and introduce them to future generations, the visitor can sit and walk around the monument to get a closer glimpse.
