The Dar Al Basha Museum is one of the residences of Tohami El Klaoui, the famous Pasha of Marrakesh. It is the typical example of the riad in its rectangular garden, surrounded on its four sides by six rooms in a meticulous design, while the building consists of a group of accessories, which include the traditional hammam, and the Doriya which is a place Dedicated to palace servants, the library, as well as a private space in the Pasha’s harem, Dar Al-Basha combines the craftsmanship of the traditional Moroccan craftsman on the one hand, and the openness of Al-Basha Al-Klaoui to the methods of Western decoration on the other.
