Dalseong Park is a historical park located within the grounds of the oldest historical earthen fort in Korea, a fort estimated to have been built in the year 261 AD, and initially built as a Japanese military base. The city municipality has turned the area into a zoo, and visitors will find among the animals present, elephants, tigers, lions and black bears. Visitors to the park will also find ancient temples, magnificent statues, and covered rest areas.
