The Dallas Heritage Village Museum is an open-air historical museum inside Old City Park. The museum aims primarily to preserve the history of the city of Dallas, in addition to collecting and preserving historical and cultural materials and holdings for the city. The museum also documents the history of the city in the period between 1840-1910 AD through buildings and furnishings dating back to that period.
