Daegu Arboretum is a wonderful garden created in a covered dump area as an environmentally friendly project, and today it has become one of the city's landmarks. The nursery includes more than 60,000 trees of 400 different species, there are well-tended gardens, as well as areas left to appear as if they were grown naturally, and it contains a number of picturesque water features, such as ponds, petrified wood and a path through a tunnel of greenery.
