Located on a site that once housed Taiwan's largest brewery during the Japanese colonial era, the Taichung Cultural Heritage Park has been renovated to be one of the city's finest attractions. Today, the park is used to promote various cultural and creative industries in Taichung, and is a place worth visiting to see all the old brewery buildings, as well as to enter the various exhibitions and specialty stores. The garden is now one of the five accredited cultural centers in Taiwan, and is officially supervised by the Ministry of Culture.
