The Quarto Real de Santo Domingo is a former Nasrid palace and monastery in Granada. The original construction of the palace is believed to date back to the reign of Muhammad II, who reigned between 1273 and 1302, and a recent study in tree astrology has shown that The wooden roof dates back to after 1283 and this makes it one of the oldest surviving palaces built by the Nasrid dynasty, which was originally known as the "House of the Big Wheel".
