The Cross of the Kings is an ancient place where the inhabitants of the island of El Hierro gather to practice some of their rituals. It is located in the Camino de la Virgen at the top of the island at an altitude of about 1,400 meters on a large plain. A large communal meal is held for the pajada community, where families spread tablecloths and share food. The place is of great importance to the indigenous people.
