Surrounding Cambronne is a group of houses built between the First and Second Empire by Mathurin Crucy, named after General Pierre Cambronne, whose brief but glorious fight at Waterloo made him a national hero. On one of the fountains on the Four Walls of Nantes by the famous sculptor Charles-Auguste Lebourg.
