The Convento de Santo Domingo El Antiguo was built in the eleventh century AD, and thus is the oldest monastery in the city of Toledo. It was named after the monk Dominic, who was widely known for his Gregorian chants, and it houses the burial place of the great artist "El Greco", as well as 3 of his wonderful paintings. Do not hesitate to visit it when you come to the city with family or friends.
