The Conference Palace is one of the modern attractions in the city of Bethlehem, and is visited by tens of thousands of visitors every year, because it contains many recreational facilities such as gardens, theaters, meeting rooms and a cafeteria. The Conference Palace is located in the southern part of Bethlehem near Solomon's Pools. It is a very large building and extends over an area of 32,000 square meters. It was built in response to Yasser Arafat's initiative in 1999 to host the 2000 World Economic Forum in Bethlehem.
