The Monastery of the Resurrection is located in Zaragoza. It was declared a site of cultural significance in 1893. It was built on the remains of ancient Roman walls from the thirteenth century. It is the only example of Mudejar monastery architecture that has survived in the city to this day, as the ecclesiastical system of the Holy Sepulcher dates back to The city of Jerusalem in Palestine in 1099 during the First Crusade, where the Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
