One of the most beautiful churches to visit in Olinda is the Convent of San Francisco. The church is designed in Spanish Baroque architecture and has a distinctive yellow color. It has a wonderful library containing about 25,000 ancient texts (some of which predate the Spanish conquest) and is filled with romantic squares and monasteries. You have to look for the magnificent dome built in the Moroccan style, and there you can enjoy the nature surrounding the church and the distinctive historical atmosphere.
