A small square in Ljubljana from the Baroque period. The original arena was completely reconstructed for the 1821 Congressional Convention and was subsequently named after him. At its southern end is the site of the former District Palace, where the conference was held, and now it is in the building of the University of Ljubljana, which was founded in 1894. The North Square is an important site for many historical monuments.
