The complex of Lake Pregba Vacay is located in the central-eastern part of Dolj County, north of the village of Pregba and south of the city of Craiova. It was declared a protected natural area in 2000. It covers an area of 28 hectares. It consists of lakes, swamps, waterways, alluvial forests, sand dunes and arable land. and meadows, and includes a large variety of wetland flora and fauna.
