The Coba Museum, located a few steps from the train station in the historic Scottish Presbyterian Church building overlooking CorkHarbor, has an extensive collection of exhibits, photographs, books, antiques, and memorabilia that reflect a variety of topics from the city's cultural, social, commercial and maritime history. Besides a number of rare and interesting documents including logbooks and statements such as lists of captives of ships that sailed to Australia, the museum also contains historical information on the Presbyterian Church. It is a voluntary museum and is operated on a non-profit basis. The museum has friendly volunteer staff who guide visitors and provide them with valuable information about the museum.
