It is a 553.3-meter-high concrete communication and control tower located in the city center. Built on former railroad grounds, it was completed in 1976. Its name was originally given to the Canadian National Corporation, the railroad company that built the tower. The tower is considered one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World by the American Society of Civil Engineers. It also belongs to the World Federation of Great Constellations. The tower offers a charming unmissable view of the city of Toronto.
