The Clock Tower of Ulcinj is one of the most famous monuments in the municipality of Ulcinj. It was built in 1754 from carved stones near the Namazgaho Mosque. It is 30 meters high and has an amazing architecture that makes it one of the most attractive landmarks in the region. The purpose of its construction was to Show the clock and tell people the time. The location of the tower was carefully chosen so that the clock could be seen and heard from every part of the city. The clock of this old tower was also renovated in 1980, as it was purchased from Czechoslovakia by the former Montenegro government.
