One of the most important landmarks of Cianjur is the Cianjur Scott Monument, which was erected and established here in honor of the efforts of the military scouts in maintaining the security of the country. The monument consists of a solid arsenal bearing the scouting emblem, and a number of paintings bearing the history of scouting in the city and its development. The monument is surrounded by a spacious plaza dotted with restaurants and cafes.
