Chorito Pagoda is a five-story pagoda on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City and Mount Fuji on the horizon, part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine, built as a peace monument in 1963. The site offers stunning views, especially during the mid-mid cherry blossom season. April is when hundreds of trees are in bloom and during the fall color season which usually takes place in the first half of November. The place is especially popular among photographers because it allows some of the most amazing photographs of Japan to be taken.
