The Church of São Pedro de Sintra dates back to the Middle Ages, but gained its present form in the second half of the 16th century. Its building and tower are in Baroque style, its facade and walls are adorned with stunning white and blue tiles, while inside there are elements of Manolin, Romanesque and Gothic styles. This makes it one of the most important landmarks to visit in Sintra.
