The Church of the Conception is the largest temple on the island of El Hierro. It was previously built using simple materials with a great height that caused its collapse in 1796 and was replaced by the current church that contains a bell tower with a distinctive neo-baroque facade, and is the repository of much of the island's historical heritage, with A stunning emblematic French watch donated by Dr. Gaspar Quintero.
