The beautiful Basque Gothic Church of San Vicente de Abando dates back to the sixteenth century, construction began in 1556, and is located next to the Albea Gardens in the heart of Bilbao, and is distinguished by its ancient basilica structure and monumental Renaissance façade with a distinctive triumphal arch, as well as the tomb of the poet and the famous novelist and folklorist Antonio de Trueba.
