One of the oldest churches in Lucca is the Church of San Giusto, which dates back to the 12th century, and was built on the remains and ruins of an earlier church. The church was characterized by a simple design on a nave and two aisles with bridges, and the front facade has mixed decorations, with white and black lines in the upper part, forming two small pieces superimposed at the top, as if they were real jewels!
