One of the most beautiful buildings of Baroque architecture in Eiger, the Anthony of Padua Church, also known as the Minorite Church, was dedicated in honor of Saint Anthony in 1771 and was designed by Kilian Ignaz Dentzenhofer, architect of the Archbishop of Vienna. The official date of the construction of the church is 1771, but its interior spaces continued to be decorated until 1792 by artists at that time, and its main entrance is surrounded by pairs of Corinthian columns, and the building as a whole is unique and worth visiting and seeing.
