Shuijin Lama Temple is an architectural masterpiece of the 19th and 20th centuries, built by Mongolian architects between 1904 and 1908 by order of 8th Bogd Khaan Janzandamba as a dedication to his brother Lama Luvsankhaidav. The temple contains an impressive collection of woodcarvings, ornaments, embroidery, and carvings dating back to the 17th century, along with Buddhist paintings, including paintings by Zanabazar, a famous religious reformer and great artist of the 17th century. Colorful masks, bronze statues of deities, silk chests, and much more.
