Chile House - هامبورغ: Working hours, Activities, Visitor reviews
Information about Chile House
Designed by German architect Fritz Höger and built between 1922 and 1924, Chili House, a ten-story building in Hamburg, is an exceptional example of a type of architecture known as Brick Expressionism. It is a building famous for its ship-like roof, and has structures that meet at a very sharp angle at the top. The building is best viewed from the east, and due to the prominent vertical elements of the place, as well as the curved exterior walls, despite its large size the building exudes a certain sense of lightness. It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015.
