The church is located on the site of a former place of worship and is adjacent to the Benedictine Nunnery, the largest and oldest monastery in Milan. Today, parts of the monastic complex are still located on the Roman ruins and walls. Construction work began in the edifice that we see today in 1503 AD, and its parts are still intact today. When you visit this church, you can see the splendor of the majestic architecture on its walls, the way they are decorated from the inside with golden leaves and beautiful frescoes.
