Shtvertinsky Palace - this late Baroque architectural monument - was built in the 1770s, with a huge volume of three floors in the central part covered with a hinged roof with one-story side wings, and became a distinctive architectural masterpiece in the city at the time. At first, this building was for the midwife school, then the Grodno Medical Academy was opened in it. Today, the palace is one of the most beautiful tourist sites in the city, which is still distinguished by its design and implementation, which is difficult to see anywhere else easily.
