The Church of Our Lady of Purgatory is the result of the reconstruction of an old chapel on Via Sacra in the village of Kamenha, and it dates back to the mid-18th century in the late Baroque period. It is also possible to discover some influences of the Brazilian Baroque style in its architecture, such as the altar pieces decorated with huge carvings and the so-called With a "bat wing" at the main gate.
