A Roman Catholic cathedral located in the heart of the island of Gozo. It is one of the oldest churches on the island, having been established in the year 1864. It was built on the ruins of a Byzantine church that existed since the thirteenth century. It is a beautiful church built in the style of Baroque architecture, where visitors will find magnificent statues and majestic drawings of the most important religious figures throughout history, as well as domes, columns, a gilded altar and many more.
