It is the Roman Catholic cathedral in Korčula, it was built by local masters in the fifteenth century, specifically in 1557, and was completed in the middle of the sixteenth century, then the church was subjected to many restoration and renovation operations that added many architectural elements to it later. The church is distinguished by the collection of paintings that adorn its walls, as well as many statues and sculptures, the most famous of which is a bronze statue of Jesus Christ by the Croatian sculptor Frano Kršinić.
