Information about Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist
The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charleston, which was designed by Brooklyn architect Patrick Keely in the Gothic Revival style, and opened in 1907 AD. Perhaps one of the most distinctive features of the church here is the tall walls and ceilings that suggest prestige and grandeur. As for the design of the floors here, it is a fantasy, with the decorated marble tiles, which were obtained from the countries of the Arab East.
