The Catacombs of Kom al-Shuqafa, also known as Tell al-Kinz, is a huge royal tomb dating back to the second century AD, and containing a unique mixture of elements of Roman, Hellenistic and Pharaonic art, which is clearly reflected in the paintings on the wall, and the style of statues, funerary artifacts and tombs, and this site was Archaeological one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
