Sedan Castle is a large medieval castle that dominates the city of Sedan in the Jordan region with its stunning architectural design, and it is one of the largest feudal fortresses in Europe, and it took more than 150 years to build until it was finally completed, and the castle was built around the year 1424 by Eberhard II Eberhard II von der Mark built a small house with twin towers, the castle was reinforced by his son and completed by his grandson Robert II de la Marck who completed the most important work. In the second part of the twentieth century, the castle was restored several times, and today it is a major tourist attraction in the Jordan region, and includes the city’s tourism office in addition to a 3-star hotel, and it is considered an open book on the history of fortification attesting to its greatness and strength within its walls and the role that played Previous Sedan lords played it on the political scene within France and Europe.
