Located on the heights of the Meuse Valley in the Ardennes, the Castle of Hyerge is a beautiful example of Renaissance architecture. It was built in the 10th century, and for centuries served as the residence of famous people in history, it was also at the center of the power struggle between Francis I. and Charles V, whose building today skillfully blends the military side and the splendor of 16th century princely life, has been listed as a historical monument.
