Hoch Castle dates back to the 11th century, when the castle was owned by only four families, which were also of regional historical and leading political importance in the city. In the early years (1978-1981), the castle was used for public cultural events, and in 2007, the castle was presented to the public for the first time after its five-year renovation. Today, Hoch Castle has become a meeting place for people with diverse artistic talents and cultural activities. The castle is characterized by a luxurious Baroque building, where the vast areas and multiple rooms, which include the most luxurious types of wooden furnishings.
