The Palazzo de San Felipe is located in an old defensive building in the north of Tenerife, where the castle was one of the four castles that defended the city in antiquity. Its construction began in 1599 in an area where there were two weak platforms equipped with small cannons that had already proven effective against the attack of pirates by five ships. The construction of the fort was completed in the early seventeenth century, and since then it has served as a defensive base, and in 1924, it was declared unsuitable for the needs of the army and was closed, but today it has become a tourist attraction and a shrine for the beauty of the place and its charming view.
