The Kasbah Museum is located in the Kasbah of Sfax, an official fortified residence that was used in the 12th century under the Almohad dynasty founded in the Maghreb and was defended by armed guards. With two towers and an artillery bastion dating back to the sixteenth century, it has been painstakingly restored and has now regained its original splendor, and a number of museum exhibits have been collected inside, such as the open exhibition that shows construction tools and techniques used in the construction of walls and buildings, which includes some Roman monuments such as columns and marble statues, and an exhibition of works Al Hadidiya, which displays wrought iron designs, antique locks and a number of other pieces, the underground mosque gallery, and others.
