The Ego Temple is a Hindu temple located 4 kilometers from Ratu Poko or about 18 kilometers east of Yogyakarta. It was built in the period between the tenth and eleventh centuries during the period of the Mataram Kingdom. It is located on the top of a hill with a height of about 410 meters above the surface level. The sea, which provides a charming natural view of the city and the hills covered with tea, and visitors come today to explore this ancient archaeological landmark and take pictures.
