Butrint National Park, with an area of 9424 hectares, mostly of mountainous land interspersed with lakes, is about 18 km south of the city, and the park includes one of the most important monuments, the glorious 2500-year-old Butrint ruins, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List Since 1992, people have come to the park to take long trails and explore the fascinating nature and rich history of the park.
